Consecutive Interpreting

Consecutive interpreting is suitable for working with both smaller and larger groups, involving interpretation in only one language direction. Using a specialized note-taking technique, the interpreter conveys the spoken content in segments alternately with the speaker. This method is particularly recommended for presentations, business meetings, and discussions involving two languages. However, it should be noted that consecutive interpreting takes more time. Approximately 75% of the speaker's speaking time should be allocated for the interpretation.
